They wish to confirm that both the service at St.Peter's and at Denio are PUBLIC .All are welcome. Flowers by the family only please. Any donations will be shared between the nurses who cared for Harry and Junior rugby at Pwllheli. _____________________________________________________________________ October 16,2011. ARTHUR HENRY STUDT 23 November 1933-14 October 2011. The club were saddened to hear of the passing of Harry-as he was known by all-Studt.Harry died as he would have wanted - at home .Harry will be known for his role in establishing the fairground at the Maes which has long become a feature of Pwllheli. At the club he will be known for producing four sons all of whom have made an impact on Pwllheli rugby.Harry was very proud of Richard,Colin,Andrew and Ian and more recently of all his granddchildren.Chris and Carl Studt are regular members of the first team squad. Harry was old school and was not one to laud his own achievements within the game.He captained Welsh Schools in 1952 and was Captain again when Wales Schools won in France for the first time ever following a victory in Biarritz. He was a first team player at Christ College Brecon for four years and later played for Swansea ,the RAF and the Combined Services. His rugby and academic careers-he had been offered a place at Cambridge-ended with the sudden loss of his father and Harry chose to put family first and went to run the family business as its' only son. Harry coached the school side in the sixties but he felt his greatest contribution to rugby was his four sons and latterly his grandsons. Harry was liked and respected by all who knew him and he will be sadly missed. Our condolences go to Mrs.Studt and the whole family. The funeral takes place on Thursday October 20,2011.The service is public and will be held at the St.Peter's Church Pwllheli at 11 a.m.and then at Denio.

23 August,2011. WILLIAM NADEN HUGHES.
Will playing as scrum half in a match against Caernarfon,
Most of you will have heard by now of the tragic accident which took the life of Wil Pent early yesterday morning. For those of us privileged to know him it is huge loss .He will always be remebered for what he was-a gentle ,popular ,caring young man who enjoyed life to the full.He was a credit to his father John who was rightly very proud of him. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and it just does not seem fair that his life was taken when he was at his happiest.
